Westbrook Centre

Public Consultation

To ensure our plans to transform the Westbrook Centre deliver a development which benefits the local community in West Chesterton, we engaged with immediate neighbours in May 2023 and the wider local community in July 2023 and September 2023. This engagement enabled us to gather the community’s thoughts on our vision and emerging proposals and ask what people would like to see come forward as part of the project.

The feedback received during the final round of engagement also shaped the design review process, enhancing the Westbrook Centre as landscape-led life sciences campus which provides meaningful new spaces for the local community.

July 2023 Consultation

To share our emerging proposals with the local community, we carried out a public consultation in July 2023, which included two in-person drop in events and an online webinar. A recording of the webinar presentation can be found here.
The consultation introduced the emerging proposals and vision for the site to the local community and provided an opportunity for people to give their feedback on the plans.

Listening Event

Ahead of launching a full consultation, we held a drop-in listening event for neighbouring residents in May 2023. This event presented the opportunity for attendees to hear about our vision for the site and provide their initial feedback and ideas.
